Process Service is what we do every day, and we do it well. “Relentless” is in our name for a reason. Unless it becomes economically unfeasible, we serve almost everyone. Additionally, we know the process service rules and laws as well, if not better, than most attorneys. More than once we have educated an attorney on a permissible way to accomplish service when the Servee was avoiding or a Registered Agent couldn’t be found. We provide flawless affidavits that strive to keep the Court from questioning the serve. We’ve only been called to testify twice, but in the event we need to defend service, we will likely have backup evidence such as signatures, pictures, and GPS time-stamped data.
We take great care to serve your documents according to the Court Rules and Statutes. The service deadline and manner for accomplishing service are determined based on the nature of the documents being served. The deadline and manner are then noted on the field sheet for every serve. See Deadlines and Manners Chart. If your serve is to an entity, we will always look up the Registered Agent on the Secretary of State’s website. We have to certify that we served the Registered Agent, but additionally mistakes regarding registered agents are common. Catching that mistake at this stage saves time and money. When we see an obvious error before documents are served, we will contact you and let you make corrections prior to service. We have caught unsigned documents, incorrect courts on captions, incorrect entity names, missing documents (no summons with a complaint, no objection form with a writ of garnishment), etc.
Nationwide and statewide service is available. We can hire a server anywhere to get your job done. Many of our clients use us to vet other process servers and manage all of their process service needs.
When the Servee cannot be found at the address given to us, skip tracing becomes a necessary part of the process. We have been authorized to use TLOxp®, a database of public and proprietary records, for our database research. We can obtain reports regarding individuals, businesses, addresses, telephone numbers, vehicle licenses, etc. The reports are often complex. Therefore we have received training to glean the most likely current address from a morass of information. Disclosure of the information in these reports is highly regulated and requires a legally permissible purpose. For that reason Relentless Pursuit only provides copies of the reports to attorneys. Unrepresented clients will not receive copies. Pricing for these searches can be found at the bottom of this window.
Many times the Servee can be found through the database research only, but sometimes a more indepth search of the Servee’s electronic fingerprint is required. We are experts at mining the web for all available information and often find information that would otherwise be overlooked. We charge $60 an hour for Internet research.
To effectuate a serve, Relentless Pursuit will “stake out” a location where we know the Servee will be present. Most of the time service is then simply a matter of handing the documents to the Servee and rarely are there any other issues.
Although most filing is electronic, if your case requires physically filing the original copies at the court, Relentless Pursuit can pick up the documents and file them at the appropriate court, quickly and accurately.
When there can be no mistakes getting your documents to the right person, we are happy to provide courier service. We won’t be the cheapest; this is for those times when you need the same care we give to process serving.
Notary service can be provided for our clients at any location in the Denver Metro area. We are in business to serve documents, but some of our clients occasionally need a trusted notary outside of their office.
